What We Do:
Hi there! Welcome to ESU 7's Transition page. We support school districts in preparing students with disabilities (and their families) for life after high school. We know planning for the future is important, so we want to encourage IEP teams to start thinking about transition early! When students turn 14 (sometimes earlier), we work closely with school districts to develop individualized student goals for living, working, and learning. We also work together with state and local agencies to connect students and their families to helpful resources and develop a comprehensive plan that helps students transition into adulthood.
