Resources Teacher (Bridges Program)

Educational Service Unit 7 is accepting applications for a full-time Resource Teacher for our Bridges Program. This is a specialized program that has a high teacher to student ratio for autism and complex learners. This position is open immediately due to unforeseen circumstances for the remaining 2024-2025 school year. Duties include: Ability to work with a variety of districts, departments, teachers, parents and children. Demonstrate ability to plan, direct, implement and evaluate successful learning environments. 

School Psychologist

Service area is within 45 miles of Columbus, NE. Duties include: evaluation of cognitive/academic functioning, collaboration/consultation on Student Assistance and Response to Intervention teams, classroom observations, and help in designing strategies/interventions for all students.

Substitute Resource/Behavior Teacher

ESU 7 has an ongoing need for Special Education/Behavior Teacher Substitutes. This will be an on-call and as needed position. This position is typically for an 8-hour workday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Mon - Fri, and it pays $87.50 per half day or $175 per 8 hour day.

 

Applicants will be working with students with disabilities between ages 5-21.

The Learning Academy - a level 3 behavior program for students with disabilities aged 5 - 21

The Cen7ter - a level 3 life skills program for students with disabilities aged 14 - 21

Learning Academy Paraprofessional

ESU 7 has an opening for a paraprofessional in our Learning Academy.  The ESU 7 Learning Academy is a level III placement school that focuses on student’s individual needs based on academic, behavioral, and mental health. Our program supports students with social-emotional structures and mental health therapies in order for students to learn skills to become successful with the individual goals that have been set for them by their Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Team.

Substitute Paraprofessional

ESU 7 has an ongoing need for a Substitute Paraprofessional. This will be an on-call and as needed position. This position is typically for a 6-hour workday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and it pays $15 per hour. Applicants will be working with students with disabilities between ages 5-21. Job requirements: High school diploma, effective communication skills, proficient computer skills, and ability to work with a team in a fast-paced work environment.
